SAMSON - FRIESIAN WARMBLOOD
The face of innocence after taking a bite out of poor Moo, the stags, bum!!! - 5 months old.
As you can see Samson is very tall young colt! - born 10.4.07. He has to have been the tallest foal we've ever had - he was just all legs when he was born! He is a very athletic looking youngster he should make around 16.2 Hh+, he is built very much along the lines of a TB but moves very much like a friesian with the higher action in front, he really uses his quarters well under himself and has a very impressive turn of speed, he would make a fantastic event/dressage or driving horse, he's certainly got a good engine on him! He is of course by Wessel out of our TB mare Bolula, she is by the sprint stallion Tagula, Bolula was placed the few times that she did race before we bought her (she is also for sale see below), he has inherited her deep chest and will have good bone from Wessel, he is very sweet natured and laid back, like both parents.
Samson has been gelded (13/2/08), he behaved perfectly. He is also chipped and vaccinated. He now has a little brother called Soloman - see NEWS page born 28/4/08 by Wessel, and they would make a perfect driving pair - they have both got a white sock but on opposite hinds. Soloman will be for sale soon and we would do a good deal for the 2 or even with thier Dam Bolula back in foal as well for 2009 - please ask us for details.

Quintus is a very handsome, dark bay, colt foal, born 30/05/08, out of the Thoroughbred mare Willow Warbler by Wessel and should mature to over 15.2Hh. We are extremley pleased with him as he is just like his full brother Phoenix (who we've retained as a stallion prospect), lovely temperament, compact, perfect conformation with a beautiful head and Willow's powerful back end!
We think he will go far in any discipline, but would make a fantastic competition horse/ eventer and a possible stallion prospect too.
A fantastic opportunity to acquire a horse with serious potential, not a horse to be missed.
Pictures of his full sister Orla can be seen above and his other brothers, Aramis and Maximus, above and on the SOLD HORSES page, his full brother Phoenix can be seen on the Stallions page. BOLULA.
Bolula ( called Socks at home) is a stunning 9 year old, 15.2 Hh, Wetherby's registered Thoroughbred mare. She has a beautiful head which inclines towards an arab, she has wonderful short cannons and a really good sloping shoulder with plenty of depth through the girth. Bolula is a really speedy mare who was placed a few times in her racing career winning about £ 2000. She is by a top sprinting stallion TAGULA who won the Prix Morny (GRP1) and the July Stakes (GRP 3). Tagula's offspring have won Group races and prize money over £5,400,000.
Bolula had one foal in 2004, an Anglo Arab by Eternal Dream, she is easy to get in foal and is a really good mother.
Bolula’s 2006 foal was by Recording Session - (a registered TB ), we were really pleased with him. She had a huge, bay colt foal born 10/4/07, he's going to be a stunning chunky boy!! - See GALLERY 2 page for pics of colt - we have named him Samson. She is due to foal around the beginning of April 2008. She will most likely throw something exactly the same as her colt Samson this year - good opportunity to produce a driving pair!.
Socks foaled on the 28/04/08 and produced a gorgeous, big, bay, colt foal called Soloman (pic below) and is now for sale above. Also check the NEWS page for more pics of him.
Bolula is for sale with Soloman or can be sold separately at weaning time and we are also doing a deal for her, Soloman and her yearling son Samson. Bolula also comes with a free covering to any of our stallions.

FISH AT DAWN.
Fish At Dawn is a stunning example of a Thoroughbred, she has a fantastic temperament - very people orientated, her action is more towards a warmblood and she has very good conformation as you can see. She is 9yrs old and is Wetherbys registered and is by the TB stallion MARLIN who is by the famous RED RANSOM ( he has a stud fee of £35000 and is sire of the GRP 1 winning stallion INTIKHAB and the up and coming sire ERKRAAR !) So a very well bred mare! She is 16.3 Hh and we have had her since she was a 3 yr old, she was broken to race but never did as she was still growing when we bought her!
She had a stunning foal in 2006, by our friesian stallion Wessel, we were so pleased with the filly foal - Arwen (see top of for sale page), that we were umming and aaahing over wether to keep Fish At Dawn as she really is a sort hard to find nowadays, but as we are hoping to get in another 2 or 3 friesian mares in the next couple of months we just don't have enough stables for them all!! Our vet bought Arwen to go eventing in a few years time, so we look forward to see how she gets on, she will also be going to a few shows in 2008 so we will keep you updated on how she does.
She was scanned in foal at 21 days at the end of June '06, but we had her scanned again and she had reabsorbed it. The vet checked her uterus and ovaries and everything was perfectly normal. Unfortunately it is not possible to get a mare in foal every time- it's just one of those things, we were very disappointed though as she did produce one of the best looking foals we have had to date and she sold for just under £4000 as a yearling!. She really is a great mare, easy to cover and can run with the stallion. She was also a super mum. She did get in foal last year however first time and is due around the middle of May 2008.
Filly foaled on 22/05/08 and produced an enormous, bay, colt foal called Archer - see the NEWS page for more pics.
Filly is for sale with Archer or can be sold by herself after weaning. She will be for sale with a free covering to any of our stallions.
Reduced from £2900 to £2300.
Filly + Archer = £3800 (reduced from £4200).
Arwen - Filly’s 1st foal as at a couple of months old and below as a 2yr old.
Filly’s 2008 colt foal - Archer.
