Holly Berry was the first foal born on the stud. She is a registered Welsh Section B by Krypton Holly. She is now a general riding and show pony and as you can see she has turned out to be a stunning pony and is a confidence giver at only 5 yrs old! Above 2 pics on left is Holly with her new owner at pony camp and looks like they’re having a great time! The one on the right is Holly with her new owner at a show looking very smart! Tiberius was the 2nd foal to be born on the stud and is by our cob mare Bess (see Mares’ page) out of our first Friesian stallion Nero. As you can see he’s turned out very friesian looking! He is a 5yr old, 16Hh, gelding and lives in Northumberland as a general riding horse and has also just completed a charity endurance ride. He also attends Peter Maddison-Greenwell’s dressage clinics and is doing very well. Thanks to Jo for these fantastic pics.

Bandit is a 4 yr old, 15.2Hh and still growing!, gelding by Bess out of an Arab stallion that we owned called Eternal Dream. He went to the same home as his half brother Tiberius.  In the photo he was on his first trip to the beach and behaved impeccably! In the photo above was Bandit as a gawky yearling and the one on the left is Bandit at a couple of weeks old - what a difference between the pics!! Thanks again Jo for sending us the pic!

Aramis is 3yr old gelding by Wessel out of the our Thoroughbred mare Willow (see For Sale page). Last Christmas he was around 16.2Hh and still growing!! Slightly bigger than we expected him to turn out to be as Wessel is 16.2Hh and Willow is only about 15.3Hh!  His new owners are extremely pleased with him, he is doing very well and are bringing him on slowly with the hope to back him in the near future.  The above picture on the left is Aramis at going on 3 yrs old in his winter woolies!! The above pic on the right is Aramis in the summer as a 2yr old. The pic on the left is Aramis on the stud in the spring of his 2nd year. Thanks to Dave and Gill for the pics.

Clive as he is now called is a 4 yr old Anglo Arab by an Arab stallion (now gelding) Eternal Dream that we owned out of Bolula (see For Sale page). His new owner is breaking him in to do general riding and show jumping.  The pics on the left are of him 2 yr old and  the pic on the right is of him at a couple of weeks old.

Musketeer or Athos as he is called is a 3yr old, 15.2Hh and still growing! gelding by Bess (see Mares page) out of the  Arab stallion (now gelding) Eternal Dream that we owned. He is known as the Gentle Giant on his yard and has recently been backed professionaly. The trainer thought he was a fantastic, quiet, confident, unfazed youngster.  The two pictures above are of him as a  2yr old, the picture on the left is of Athos at a couple of weeks old and the one on the right is Athos as a yearling. Eternal Dream or Dan as he is now known is a 14.2Hh Arab who was one of our first stallions.

He was an amazing stallion and produced some fantastic offspring (he produced 6 foals on our stud, all of which are on this page) including show winners and European show qualifiers. We had him gelded when we were not using him on any of our mares, when we changed to breeding friesians, and we didn’t want to sell him on as a stallion. He is now in a great home in Norfolk being ridden as a general riding horse. More pics will follow. The picture is of him at the Royal Highland when he was a stallion.

Jazz is a  2yr old, 15.3Hh, Thoroughbred gelding and the only foal produced on our stud by the late Recording Session who was an American Thoroughbred  bought over to train in the UK, he is out of our mare Bolula (see For Sale page). Jazz is identical to his Dad and on Jazz’s first outing at a hunter yearling competition at Dalston came 4th - see above pic - looking very smart! Congratulations to his owner’s Louise and Sarah!

Krypton Holly is a registered Welsh B and was sold with her  stunning filly foal at foot by Eternal Dream  (called Willow) who will now be a yearling. She produced 4 gorgeous foals on our stud, of which some have now gone on to be show winners. She herself was a show winner and at her previous home produced a foal that was sold to Canada.

She has gone to her new home as a companion and broodmare. Willow went as a potential show pony.

Maximus is a 4yr old, gelding by Nero (our first friesian stallion) out of our mare Willow (see For Sale page). He went on to his new home to become a show hunter/ eventer/ general riding horse. In the photos Maximus is 2yrs old.

Falco is a pure friesian, yearling, gelding by Wessel out of our mare Irma (see Mares page), who is now down in London and by the sound of it is a firm favourite on the yard, and has been to a fancy dress competition and is regularly handled by children as he is just so chilled!

He was born with white on him, something that does happen in the Friesian breed, but is rarely spoken about! and not excepted by the FPS. However Falco is an absolutely stunning Friesian - as you can see from the pics and his new owner Claire is absolutely thrilled with him. Claire hopes to train him as a general riding and dressage horse, he is a yearling in the pic above.

Orla is a 15.2Hh, yearling, filly by Wessel out of Willow (see For Sale page) and  full sister to Aramis (above) and Phoenix (Other Stallions page).  Orla’s new owner is hoping to train her as a general riding horse and possibly have someone event her in the future. The above picture on the left is Orla in the spring, on the right is Orla in mid October - looking very pretty and a lot more mature!

Orion is a pure friesian colt by Wessel out of Irma (see Mares page) and full brother to Falco (see above). He is 6 months old and was weaned 2 weeks ago. He has gone to a new home in Lancashire, where his new owners hope to train him, in the future, as a general riding/driving and family horse . We think he will grow to approximately 16Hh.

Arwen is a 2yr old, 15.3Hh, filly by Wessel out of Fish At Dawn (see For Sale page). Her new owner is hoping to train her as a general riding horse and eventer. The pictures above on the left are Arwen at 2 yrs old, the pic on the right at 3 1/2 months and the pic on the left is Arwen at 2yrs old.

Una is 2yr old pure Friesian filly who we imported along with her Mum Carolien (see Mares page) she is by the Friesian stallion Brandus. Una went on to a home in Gloucestershire as a riding and dressage horse. She also got taken to the Friesian keuring this September where she recieved a 3rd premie - her owner will not be taking Una again as she was horrified at how the horses were treated and Una was absolutely terrified by the guys chasing her with whips and tins of rocks to “show her paces”!!!! - am not sure why the FPS insists on terrifying horses into pacing!!!  Apparently the only thing they commented on was that she was unbalanced in trot - hmmm - maybe because she is only 2yrs old and still a baby???!!!

Griffin is a 2 yr old gelding by an Arab stallion that we owned called Eternal Dream (see above) out of our mare Bess (see Mares page). He has gone to a fantastic home where he is starting training to be a carriage driving horse. He has already gone to a lot of competitions as a companion for the new owners other horse and has been completely unfazed by everything! As you can see by the pics he is in the first stages of long reining and is doing very well. The owners are absolutely thrilled with him and can’t wait for him to be old enough to harness him to a carriage! Desert Bloom, now called Lillie, is a 4yr old Welsh B x Arab by the Arab stallion we owned Eternal Dream (see above) out of the Welsh B mare Krypton Holly (see above). She went to a fantastic home in Liverpool where she was backed in March and is doing really well.

Desert Bloom also went to her very first show this year - she won  a 1st, two 2nds and also received lots of very complimentary comments! Her new owner is absolutely thrilled with her and hopes to do lots more showing among many other things next year. Thanks to Rachel for the wonderful pics.
